# Is training required in order to implement ETR’s evidence-based programs?

## While ETR does not require that educators using our evidence-based programs (EBPs) attend training, research shows that targeted, outcome-focused, skills-based training leads to greater implementation fidelity.

We strongly encourage program implementers to seek the appropriate training in order to increase program impact and ultimate sustainability. Program funders may also have requirements related to training. Be sure to review your funding guidelines carefully. See our [Training & TA](http://www.etr.org/ebi/training-ta/types-of-services/training-information-services) webpage for more information about our Training and TA Services.

Currently, our trainings are being delivered virtually only. **[View the training calendar.](https://www.etr.org/ebi/training-ta/training-calendar/)**
